Former Premiers discuss vision for NSW

Release Date: 28/01/2015
Former NSW Premiers The Hon. Nick Greiner and The Hon. Morris Iemma will share their insights during an open and facilitated discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing NSW, at an event hosted by the Sydney Business Chamber in Parramatta on 12 February.
With the NSW election to be held in March, our former Premiers will give unrivalled insights into political life and what they expect to be the big issues in the 2015 election.
With the population of NSW forecast to increase by two million, reaching 9.2 million in 2031, our former leaders will also provide insights into how NSW can attract investment, develop jobs and encourage growth to support this increased population.
David Borger, Western Sydney Director of the Sydney Business Chamber said, “To have these two former leaders in the same room providing their insights into the world of politics is a real coup.
“With Western Sydney high on the election agenda, we are pleased to host this event in Parramatta and hope to encourage discussion about which leader will ‘win’ the West.
“Former leaders don’t pull any punches when it comes to the current state of play. This is sure to be a lively discussion where these questions and many more will be answered,” Mr Borger said.
